Mishaps and Memories

We bought this home built tear drop in September 2008 from a couple in Sweet Home, Oregon. Although we got several nice camping trips out of her that fall, we soon learned that even though we have nice warm down sleeping bags, this little rig just isn’t conducive to winter camping. Too much condensation builds up on the interior walls. So we retired her for the winter and fully intended to start using her again in the spring. But spring passed by oh so quickly and she just sat parked in our garage. After another summer in Alaska I thought we’d use her again, but then we decided to resurrect the Westy instead since we could run a heater in the mornings. Finally after not using the tear drop for almost 2 years, we sold her to a nice family in Seattle. We hope they enjoy it as much as we did.
